Random Happiness

I was driving to work today and I thought of all the random happy things I've experienced lately. I'm a big believer in documenting those things, because it brings me joy to go back and read it when I'm down. Today's List of Random Happiness:
  1. Driving to work with my windows and the sunroof open, and my hair blowing in the wind. Fresh air!
  2. The Coca Cola delivery guy in the parking lot at work. I saw him delivering carbonation canisters for the soda machines. Fresh fizz!
  3. Going over next door to pet my neighbor's cat Cebu. Cebu is a big purrer.
  4. The Buckeyes won big this weekend, beating Northwestern 45-10. The Chargers won too!
  5. Watching the rugged surf on Saturday while running at the coast. It was super-windy out and hard to run, but the rugged surf and the blue and turquoise colors in the ocean were beautiful!
  6. Seasoned fried potatoes at Beach City Cafe, after running at the coast of Encinitas. The owner there said she's missed us! Well, it's true we haven't been there in a while, but I didn't even realize that she recognizes us!
  7. Todd & I played Mario Kart on Wii last night. We played many courses and I came in third! I've never done so well before!
  8. Having lunch with my friend Phil, who lives in Denver now and I hardly ever see him anymore.
  9. My dad calling me just to chit chat and see how I'm doing.
I did a layout about Dean Karnazes for The Digi Dares this week. Full credits on supplies here. Photobucket Oh, and if you're looking for some inspiration and fun tutorials, make sure you subscribe to the Gypsy Expressions Quarterly Newsletter. In the fall edition, I wrote an article about using the custom shape tool in Photoshop to design your layouts, and I made a layout template freebie for subscribers to download. The winter issue will be coming out in December, so make sure you sign up!

  1. Have you ever met Dean? He is just as nice in person as he appears in the media. He's a good hero to have and your page does him justice. Nice job.

    And, Go Chargers!
