Lunch with old friends

Photobucket Well, they're not OLD in age, but they're the first people I worked with when I moved to San Diego in 2000. I've missed getting together with them and made an effort this time to make it to lunch with them. I enjoyed catching up. Over the weekend while reading the paper, Todd discovered that Cesar Millan, the "Dog Whisperer", wrote an article in Parade Magazine about what your pet can teach you. I loved it because it's so true. You can read the detailed article at the above link, but here's a summary of it. The Dog Whisperer: What Your Pet Can Teach You
  • Live in the moment.
  • Nurture a balanced life.
  • Trust your instincts.
  • Be direct and consistent in your communication.
  • Learn to listen.
  • Don't hold grudges.
  • Live with purpose.
  • Celebrate every day.
It's a wonderful list and way to live!
