Let There Be Lighting
and running faucets:
Louis came and installed both master bath faucets and the drain pipe from both sinks. Now we have functional master bath sinks. Lighting was installed in both the kitchen and the master bath, along with the switches, of course. Baby steps and progress.
Tonight was Taco Tuesday at Rubios, where the fish tacos are only $1.25 each. I ate them too fast to take photos. I am still busy at work. When the economy is down and times are tough, my job gets even tougher and I have to do more work. It's just the nature of the beast of being a financial analyst. Obviously when times get tough, my company wants to save more money and I have to do more analysis than usual regarding how to cut back on spending. Not fun. :( I guess you could say that the upside is they do need people like me to find ways to save money. My work and the remodeling dragging on has gotten me depressed. I haven't scrapped a page in over a week, because I haven't had the time. I did try to cheer myself up by making a list of things I want to do this summer. So I will share that sometime soon. I'm also going to make a list of concrete things I can do to improve my life. Baby steps. (Literally small steps. NOT having to do with babies, so don't get any ideas, LOL.)
Ooo, I love your faucet! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Look at your KITCHEN! It looks like something out of a magazine!
ReplyDeleteHang in there with work..it really is some yucky times, isn't it? Found out a couple of weeks ago that at my husband's place of employment, there will be no raises next year, they are cutting the 401K matching percentage, and raising the cost of health insurance. But, God is good and we are blessed that he has a job.
Literal baby steps..LOL!
Just checking in on your progress - don't give up.
ReplyDeleteMine is finally finished, and it has really been worth all the disruption.
Planning to post the before and after pics tomorrow if I can.
LOVE your kitchen Christine! Hopefully things will die down for you soon girly, no one likes to be stressed.

ReplyDeleteSorry that you have a hard time right now. It is great to have a job, but not so great when it leaves you with no strenght left to do other stuff. Hope it soon sorts it self out!
