The other day I was reading stuff that Peppermint shared with me in Google Reader, when I came upon something I could not take my eyes off of. It was gorgeous. And it brought back so many childhood nostalgic memories (again!), even though it is something new and not old. I had to order it.
It came today. Happy mail from Japan.
It's a Fujifilm Instax Mini 7. An instant camera, like a polaroid, but still alive! When I heard about the death of Polaroid back in January, I felt sad about an era gone. Now my nostalgia can be captured again, on little credit card sized instant prints.
I like the colors on this. I can't wait to try it outside with sunny blue skies and see how it looks. I even found a Flickr group dedicated to the Instax.
Little wallet-sized instant photos. Now I can still shake it like a polaroid. :p
cool camera and cool idea! Congratulation to your new camera!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! I think I want one!
ReplyDeleteI agree on the "coolness" of this camera. Can't wait to see some more outdoor shots. I can see a new layout coming about this camera...
ReplyDeleteOh, so fun! I've never seen such a camera before, but I immediately feel the urge to get one. =) It is so cool!
