David Meets Noodle

Our friends Monika and David came over for dinner last night. Turned out that David had never met Noodle before! Noodle takes well to strangers and new people, so he was letting them pet him and also meowing at them and purring. He loves to be in the middle of the action!

See? Noodle grooming his paw in the background, while Monika did an imitation of the "Todd Shot".

We had to put our extra leaf into the table in order to fit all the food!

Wild/brown rice mix, broccoli, and Seoulful Chicken with Minted Cucumbers.

People look better with happy tummies, perhaps?

After dinner, we gave Monika and David a tour of our upstairs, which they had never seen before. Monika is a crafty girl, so she had been wanting to see my craft studio.

After the tour, it was time for dessert! We made homemade raspberry chocolate ice cream. Monika brought some hazelnut wafers, which went perfectly with the ice cream. Yum!

David got to eat the last of the ice cream.

Monika was sad when the ice cream was gone.

After dessert, David and Todd played a rousing game of NCAA Football 2012 on the PS3, while Monika and I sat on the nearby couch and looked at my Project Life book and the mini book that I made Todd for our anniversary. We had so much fun chatting with them! Sharing good food with good friends at our house is one of our most favorite experiences!

we just picked David's return flight today.. aug 23rd, sniff sniff. So.., that leaves 2 weekends for potential Korean bbq!

    ready, set ... research!

PS - david feels honored to be a topic in a blog post :o)
