30 Days of Lists | Day 1: Goals for September

Well, HELLO September!

For the month of September, I've joined up with 30 Days of Lists to make a list based on the given prompt each day, for 30 days! Notice the name of my blog... www.listgirl.com? Yea! That's actually the reason I started this blog back in 2002! Now, 990 posts later, I get to go back to my blog's roots and make some lists! Not that lists were ever gone, because I love my lists! But this month, with 30 Days of Lists, my lists are definitely back in a big way. I plan to post my lists on the blog, along with writing/scrapping my lists in my red SMASH book.

So here we go with Day 1!

30 Days of Lists | Day 1:  Goals for September

  1. Watch college football (Go Buckeyes!)
  2. Watch NFL football
  3. Start on Handmade Christmas - procure and organize supplies + start on 3 projects
  4. Finalize and execute 1,000 blog post celebration giveaways
  5. Eat less carbs and sweets
  6. Exercise 5x/week, concentrating on strength/weight training
  7. Return to digi-designing (did you notice I was on hiatus this summer?)
  8. Design new splash page for ListgirlDesigns.com
  9. Plan to open an Etsy store for handmade scrapbooking stuff
  10. Continue to enjoy Project Life
  11. Organize my home office space
  12. Finish reading "Geography of Bliss" by Eric Weiner
  13. Read Bible daily
  14. Write my daily lists
I always bite off more than I can chew, so I think I'm keeping up with that tradition here, ha ha.  Some notes on the above.

Number 4:  I was only going to have one giveaway for my 1,000 blog post celebration, but I had this brilliant idea to give away SEVEN items based on what I blog about the most these past few years.  The ideas got bigger and bigger and because of that, I have to prepare and this won't happen right on the 1,000th blog post.  But it will happen fairly soon, so get ready for some fun giveaways!  :D

Number 12:  I have a stack of books that I've half-finished.  They mock me on my bookshelf and in my bedside bin.  It irks me that I can't categorize them as "read" in my Goodreads list, LOL.  So I'm going to slowly but surely try to finish half-read books.  Believe me, there are a bunch!

So that's my list for today.  Because 30 Days of Lists is a paid community this time, I can't share the prompts ahead of time on my blog.  However, once they're posted on my blog, feel free to follow along and make your own lists.  And feel free to post your link to your list in the comments section of my blog posts and let me check out your list as well!  :)

September is going to be awesome!

PS - Todd has posted his blog post about Bark For Life, so you can check it out on his blog if you wish.
