Over the last few weeks I’ve been busy crafting away in my craft studio. I made a VERY limited number of handmade holiday papercrafting kit. I thought I would give one of these holiday papercrafting kits away for my 1,000 blog posts celebration! Well, the 1,000th blog post actually happened a few weeks ago, but that’s okay, we can still celebrate now! :D
This handmade holiday papercrafting kit can certainly be used to make a December/Holiday/Christmas mini album, or you can use it to make other holiday cards and crafts. The kit contains 6x6 papers, but they are not hole-punched, so you could use them for whatever you want, not just for making a mini-album.

- 2 blank manila shipping tags
- 1 red chevron bitty bag
- 1 polka dot kraft bitty bag
- 1 glassine bag hand-stamped with santas
- 2 red avery tags
- 5 white mini avery tags (3 hand-stamped with holiday sentiments)
- 5 colorful striped paper clips
- 7 vintage buttons tied with twine
- 2 Basic Grey journaling tags
- 1 strip hand-stamped holiday tickets
- 2 binder rings (in case you want to make a mini-album)

ReplyDeleteMine is probably Christmas day itself & spending the day at my Grandma's visiting with my family. We visit, have dinner, do presents, & hang out until the kids are changed into their pjs.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition, until we moved into the moon desert, was going to a Christmas tree farm and finding and cutting our Christmas tree! There's something magical about it.
Now that we have an artificial tree I really pour my heart in to crafty projects with my daughter and baking & decorating cookies. So fun!

This is gorgeous! Such a great assortment of beautifully coordinated goodies! My favorite tradition has to be my husband's reading of The Night Before Christmas to my children. It never ceases to fill my heart with wonder and my eyes with happy tears.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is when we get our tree. We get a live tree every year and we make an all day event out of it from picking out the tree to bringing it home and decorating it. We throw on some Christmas music and have some yummy cocoa while we decorate! We all look forward to it every year!

Love your handy work! My friend shared your blog with me and I am grateful. Our favorite tradition is lighting the German Christmas Pyramid and singing silent night with our daughter. When the lights are illuminated and all is dark and peaceful, it feels like the most serene time to thank God for all that is good in our lives and remember those less fortunate. We can't sing, but for some reason when we sing that song during that time it really sounds good and fills our house with Christmas magic!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite has to do with eating! We always have lots of cookies around at Christmas, and they have to be stored in Christmas tins. No Tupperware, only festive tins. Don't know if the tins or the cookies are my favorite part.

This kit looks super cute! And congrats to 1000 blog posts! Its hard to narrow down what my fave holiday tradition is...I love everything about the holidays! Hmm...my daughter loves to pick out a nutcracker every year to add to our collection, she's now 6 and we love baking cookies for Santa and wearing new pjs to bed on Christmas Eve!

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite has been playing santa's elf for the last 16 years. We always had Christmas eve at my in laws house and exchanged family gifts. Then as soon as the kids were in bed, off to my sister in laws to wrap gifts from Santa and put them quietly below the tree. Santa sure has yummy cookies and milk too! LOL Leda
umm hello gorgeous giveaway you are so talented....I wish I could make my own stuff like that!!! one of my favorite traditions as a young girl was going to the 10:30pm church service on christmas eve....it was cold and snowy....there was something magical in the air....the service would end at midnight by candlelight and and everyone would wish each other merry christmas...then they would wish me a happy birthday (since my bday fell on christmas i didn't have friend parties)....and as a little girl....this made me feel extra special.....heck even as a big girl it still makes me feel extra special! ReplyDeleteone of my favy traditions we do every year with the fam is watching the NYC Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting while decorating at my parents house-this year it was just me with my parents but we still keep it going strong and it was definitely a great time!!!!! hubby even is planning a trip for next year so we can all actually be there-how amazing would that be!

We must watch the parades! and every Christmas Day, we open our gifts with our kids, and then after lunch, we go to my parents house for some wonderful family time and food! Same thing every year - never gets old! and we always create new memories :)
