2012 Project Life | Week 20

Hey everyone!  I've had a really busy week so far, but it's all been good!  I had a five-day weekend for Memorial Day weekend and still felt it was too short to get everything done.  I think I'm overly-ambitious about how much stuff I can accomplish.  And someone please teach me how to relax?  Because I don't know how, seriously.  After the five days off, I still felt like I need a vacation.  :p

I did Weeks 20 and 21 at the same time on Monday.  I like doing this when I have more than one week to work on.  And I limited my supplies this week pretty much to my Studio Calico kits.  Week 20 was mostly the May main kit, 35mm.  With a little bit of the Holga add-on kit mixed in.

Week 20

Left side.  We went running at Liberty Station and Harbor Drive, then had lunch at Point Loma Seafoods, our favorite seafood place in San Diego.  We had dinner with our friends Anne and Gilbert at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Chile Peppers.  We cooked healthy and lower-carb foods at home.

I took a bunch of self-portraits on my day off on Friday 5/18.  I was supposed to be paying bills but thought I'd play with the app IncrediBooth instead.  You will be seeing a lot of layouts using IncrediBooth photos, because I love them so.  :)  I had to cut them in half after printing out the whole strip, otherwise they don't fit in the pocket vertically.  The glitter alpha stickers are Recollection brand from Michaels.

Papers are from the Studio Calico 35mm kit.  I love that I'm able to limit my choices and all the colors go together when I use a kit.  Washi tapes are this and this from Freckled Fawn.  And of course, Noodle is as cute as ever.

A 4x6 photo collage of our running and eating lunch.  I'm working on a Lightroom photo collage video tutorial to share on my blog, coming soon.

Yummy food we cook at home.

Right side - the left side of this is all about the game Diablo III.  Todd waited 12 years for it to come out after Diablo II!

The journal card on the right was made during my mass-production session.  I sprayed Mister Huey (Dewey color) on the journal card while using the Ampersand mask

More progress on crocheted afghan.

On the left is my scrapbooking tools that I gathered together to take to the Amy Tan class the next day.  The right is a shape I cut out with my Silhouette digital cutting machine

  3. I love how your pages always look cohesive even though you (usually) stuff them to the gills with, well, STUFF! :)

    More Noodle pics, please!

And now after looking at your food photos, I'm getting hungry *again*. The homemade food in particular looks really really good! You ought to include the recipes in the book sometime! Or on the blog. ;)

  7. I'm giggling about your Diablo III journaling. I totally should've added this to my album. My DH did a job for the creator/CEO/not sure of exact title and he requested as part of his payment to get a copy of Diablo III as soon as it was available. He was over-the-moon when that package arrived & has been playing ever since. Love your PL :) Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration!
