2013 One Little Word | Finish

I’ve actually never picked a One Little Word for a year before. I wasn’t really going to this year either. However, my word FOUND me, I wasn’t looking for it. So I feel obligated to accept it and share it, ha ha!

One of my pet peeves is when people start things and never finish them. Then lately I’ve been horrified to discover that I’M THAT PERSON. When I look around my house, there are so many unfinished projects. Apparently I love starting things but not so much finishing them. Even though when I do finish something, it gives me a lot of joy and sense of accomplishment. I want to finish things this year and not just start them. Historically I’ve been pretty good at finish projects, such as Project 365 in 2009 when I took at least one photo per day and blogged 365 days. I also finished my New 52 project in 2011. So in 2013, I will have monthly goals to FINISH things, no matter how big or small they are!

  2. I don't think of them as unfinished projects...just ongoing projects.

  3. Great work on this project! I had chosen my "one Little Word" but wasn't feeling it, then in my Bible Study a new word was totally revealed to me.

  4. This layout is gorgeous!! This is also a great word, it would fit me so well too & what I am trying to do this january...I have a few projects I am working on finishing up before I let myself begin anything new [besides project life]. I've never done OLW before, the project has never really spoken to me...maybe I'll be convinced in the future. I'm interested to see what else you do with it :)
