A new month means the launch of the March gallery at Write.Click.Scrapbook.! I don’t know if you’ve already guessed it from the sneak peeks, but March is Mini Madness Month at WCS! We each made a mini album for the gallery, plus we will have 16 brand-new minis (four per week) to show you during March, with a giveaway from a sponsor every week! How cool is that? :D
I used my Evalicious Love You To Pieces mini art journal as the base of my mini book. I had made a few pages last month, and I finished it in February. I really love how it turned out!
4 x 6 | materials mini album base (Evalicious) + cardstock (American Crafts, Wausau) + patterned paper (My Mind's Eye) + embellishments (Evalicious, Simple Stories, American Crafts, Freckled Fawn, Studio Calico, Pink Paislee) + stamps (Evalicious, Studio Calico, American Crafts) + ink (Tsukineko, Prima, Ranger) + twine (The Twinery) + digital graphics (One Little Bird Designs) + die-cut machine (Silhouette America)
On the cover, I used Sharpie Glitter Paint Pens and Elmer’s Gold Leafing Pen to color in the wood veneer stars. They turned out so glittery and awesome! And no mess. I love glitter paint pens, they’re my new fave.
Internal pages… I love typing out journaling on the computer and printing it out directly onto the paper.
I used my Sihouette digital cutter to cut out some tickets and the love bird from cardstock.
I used a digital stamp from Ali Edwards on my photo before printing it out.
I love stapling an Evalicious foldover tab onto the photo. Such an easy way to decorate.
I stuffed a wood veneer heart halfway inside the chevron glassine bag. Then I embellished on top of the bag. Because the white sewn glassine bag on the left was glossy and slippery, I wrote on it with AC Slick Writer.
More Silhouette cutout, stamping, and coloring of wood veneer with the gold leafing pen.
I mounted the heart circle Silhouette cutout with foam adhesive to make it pop up more on the page.
I like how the colors of these pages came together.
Stamped and cut out the Love You with the little arrow. Used that and another Evalicious label directly onto the photo.
Love how the gold ink looks stamped right onto the photo.
I’ll be making another mini album for the 3nd week of March and blogging about it at Write.Click.Scrapbook.! :)
