This past Sunday 8/18, I had some friends over to scrapbook at our house. There was supposed to be four friends coming, but two had to cancel the last minute. I set up two long tables in the living room (usually our exercise room), plus a folding card table. Pearl arrived around 11:20, bringing me lunch from Daphne’s Greek Café! We ate our lunch and chatted, then we scrapbooked and chatted.
I ended up taking a whole dining table, while Pearl took up the whole long folding table, ha ha. I guess we liked to spread our stuff out!
After a while, Donna arrived and joined us!
Noodle hung out on the stairs and watched us scrapbook, keeping an eye on things below.

I wasn’t super-productive and only got one layout done. This one.
I used the Amy Tangerine stitching template, exclusive to the Studio Calico August Scrapbook Kit, Marks & Co. I stitched the “LOVE”, the arrow, and the star in the lower right corner.
I actually had these photos printed out for Project Life, but decided to use them for a layout instead.
I’m a little bit in love with that artsy arrow stamp in the Studio Calico August Project Life kit. I love stamps that make me look more artsy than I really am!
Yellow and blue is one of my favorite color combos on layouts. On this one I added in some gold too.
I loved having friends over to scrapbook together! Hopefully it will be a regular occurrence around here. I miss my crafternoons with my friend Cassi, who moved away!
