We interrupt Hawaii posts with holiday greetings! Todd, I, and Noodle wish you a very happy holiday season!
We had a very relaxed Christmas yesterday. On Christmas Eve we watched “Elf” together. We didn’t have our annual Elf Party this year due to our traveling and busy work schedules. Yesterday we woke up and made Belgian waffles for breakfast.
And then there was some gift opening…
Noodle hung out on his perch in the awesome sunshine. It was to be almost 80 degrees out! Santa brought Noodle a hummingbird bird feeder. Todd will help him hang it up outside his perch so he can bird-watch. :-)
Can’t beat zombie t-shirts with hot chocolate!
At noon we had Christmas lunch reservations at Pacifica Del Mar.
It was such a gorgeous day at the coast! So clear and warm.
The bread there was really really good.
I chose crab cakes for appetizer.
Todd chose butternut squash soup.
I had filet mignon.
Todd had some of my filet and his salmon.
For dessert, I had the chocolate pecan pie…
Todd had the carrot cheesecake.
Such awesome views from the plaza to the ocean.
We took our tripod and took a few photos. Maybe one of them will turn up on our 2014 Christmas card!
Hawaii, you’ve got nothing on San Diego! Home is where the heart is!
AWWW!!! Sounds like a great way to spend Christmas Day!!! I love your Sparkling Santa photo!! Is it just me or is the Santa REALLY sparkling? How'd you do that? Very cool!! Wow, the food looks yummy!! Merry Christmas to you and Todd and Noodle!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane! Merry Christmas to you and your family! I uploaded my photo to Google and it applied "Google-Auto-Awesome" to it! It made Santa sparkling and turned my photo into a GIF. Then I downloaded it and put it in my blog post. I didn't know this would happen, I guess it's a new Google holiday "thing", LOL!
DeleteLooks like a very Merry Christmas indeed. Yes, Santa was very sparkley! Very nice.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Christine, Todd and Noodle.
Julie
