My first blog post for Paper Issues is up on their blog today. I worked on my July Project Life pages last weekend and made a page documenting part of our trip to Napa Valley. I used mostly the Notes & Things collection from Crate Paper. I love this collection so much and I’ve made so many pages with it already!
I am still in love with this October Afternoon 3” squares page protector.
I printed my photos at just under 3” squares, leaving a white border around the edges. Then I cut the papers into 3” squares and decorated them with stickers, wood veneers, sequins, enamel dots, and journaling. I used Basic Grey Micro Mono Alpha Stickers in Grey for my title pocket.
I layered some Ephemera Die Cuts from Notes & Things onto the patterned papers before adhering strips of journaling.
For the typed journaling, I basically copied and pasted text from my blog post onto a 4x6 canvas in Photoshop and printed it out on Canon 4x6 Matte Paper. Then I cut the typed journaling into strips and adhered to my embellished 3x3 squares.
Sequins and wood veneers are some of my favorite ways to dress up my Project Life pockets.
Since the journaling was describing the chandelier, I adhered the journaling strips right onto the photo.
I love how this page came together. If you love Notes & Things like I do, you can grab it from the Paper Issues store for 20% off using my code LISTGIRL! Actually you can save 20% off your entire purchase every time you buy from Paper Issues by using my code!
Thanks for stopping by! ♥
