Paper Issues | Time To Break Out The Boots

Hi Everyone!  Today I’m sharing a layout I made for Paper Issue’s current issue “Woodn’t You Know, It’s Fall”.

I used Gossamer Blue’s “Gramercy Road” collection designed by my friend Peppermint Granberg of One Little Bird.  I love the fall theme of this collection.  But I really love that it’s not the usual bright orange and yellow fall colors.  I can see myself using this collection on a lot of non-fall layouts too!  Those diecut leaves are to-die-for!

I created a vertical composition to take advantage of the theme of falling leaves.  I love the variety of embellishments from “Gramercy Road”.  The diecut ephemera pack, tags, chipboard stickers, enamel dots, letter stickers all pull together so nicely to create a cohesive layout.

And really, that first crisp cool fall day where you break out the boots?  Such a great feeling!

  5. This layout is one of my favorites of yours recently, Christine (not that they aren't all fantastic). There is something extra awesome about the way you composed the whole thing, from the triangle/chevrons to the gorgeously drifting leaves. Your eye just follows that beautiful "fall" down the page, and wants to do it again and again. Plus, Peppermint's collection is stunning, so it just adds to the fabulous-ness of your layout.
