Noodle snoozing on his window perch.
Wow, in the blink of an eye it is November now! I am really stunned, lol. Life and work has been so busy for me lately. Let’s see what’s been going on…
We made steak using the sous vide method of cooking… it turned out really delicious. I will have a separate blog post about that soon.
On Monday 10/13 I had lunch with the girls from work at Miguel’s, to celebrate Ronda and Erecca’s birthdays.
On Tuesday 10/14 we went to Mille Fleurs for their Taste of Terroirs dinner & wine series. This time it was food and wine from Corsica. It was a lot of fun!
On Saturday 10/25, Todd did Tough Mudder for the 4th time with his friends. He had a lot of fun and didn’t get injured, which is always a good thing! (He broke a rib one time doing it.) They’re tough!
On Sunday 10/26, we met up with Monika and David at Puesto at Seaport Village for lunch. We had a lot of fun chatting and catching up!
On Monday 10/27 my car battery died. Todd gave me a jump and we drove to the O’Reilly’s Auto Parts nearby and got a new battery.
On Wednesday 10/29 Todd went to a Patrick Rothfuss book signing at Mysterious Galaxy. It was super-crowded!
Todd’s work had a Halloween costume fun run at lunch on Halloween. Guess what Todd was? In his own words: “Sometimes I'm such a $%#>^ head.” He said his costume was super-popular.
Todd joined the Swing Dance Club at work, led by John (the one on the right). He’s been practicing during their lunch time meetings.
On Saturday (11/1) he got to go to an organized Firs Saturday Swing. I stayed home because I don’t know how to swing dance and I was not feeling 100% well. Looked like Todd did good though!
This morning Todd made churro waffles for breakfast!
It turned out SO good!
After a few weeks of having a big mess on my craft island, I finally cleaned it up last weekend and this weekend I was able to scrapbook in my favorite space.
Sneak peeks of a couple of upcoming projects.
We went to IKEA yesterday to find a solution for my 12x12 album storage in the family room. We found it! We’re in the process of transitioning to the new shelves, which means I had to pack up my CD collection into boxes.
And a Noodle photo, just because he’s so cute.
Oh my gosh, where in the world did Todd find his $%#>^ head! That is just too darn funny. I know a few people who could wear that well. Need to find that!
ReplyDeleteHe found it on Amazon, lol. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LZVF6J8/
