Paper Issues | Disneyland Pocket Page

Hi everyone!  I’m on the Paper Issues blog today showing you a pocket page I created about my recent girls-only trip to Disneyland!  I decided to use the pocket page or Project Life format because I have a lot of photos for this trip.  I’ve already created a 12x12 page and I wanted to have a pocket page facing that 12x12 page.

I used a lot of fun items from Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy!  This collection is so perfect for celebrations and magical events such as going to Disneyland.

I created a title using the Stripey Straws paper and ephemera diecuts.  I also used some 7 Paper Baxter puffy stickers to “fill in” the circles on the paper.  The title “Disney” was stamped using the Hero Arts Kelly Purkey Outline Letters stamps.

I love using dimensional stickers on photos.  Here I used some Amelia gold hearts stickers and star enamel stickers from Bella Blvd.

Another thing I like to do is write or stamp on photos.  I got a new Sakura photo pen and it works really well writing on photos and drying immediately!

I used a diecut from Fine & Dandy and adhered it to the left side of my photo.  Then I just cut off the top to be flush with the photo.

I adore the mini Doodlebug doilies for layering, especially on small-sizes like Project Life pocket pages!

This is how it looks in my album.  My pocket page on the left side and my 12x12 page on the right.  I love organizing my album this way!

  2. Great Layout. They really look like they belong together. Writing on pictures and adding embellishments with a pen is something I don't do. I had to get the pens since I had to get the Hello Kitty pens from your last post. Thanks for the inspiration!
