My name is Christine Newman. I've always loved writing and paper-crafting, ever since I was a little girl. I also love to make lists, thus my website, Fabulous Adventures of Listgirl. :) I've been scrapbooking digitally since April 2006 and started playing with paper in 2011. I'm known in the forums as either "listgirl" or "supertwinkle". I love scrapbooking because looking back on my memories with the people I love make me so happy and thankful! It’s also such a great artistic outlet for me, combining my favorite hobbies of photography, scrapbooking, computers, internet, and writing.

I've been published in Creating Keepsakes and Digital Scrapbooking Magazine (now defunct). I've been on The Digi Show podcast several times, discussing various scrapbooking-related topics. You can listen to them here, here, here, and here. I've also been honored to contribute to a book called "Everyday Storyteller", a beautiful and fantastic scrapbooking/ storytelling idea book. The list of contributors is truly amazing and I'm honored to be a part of the book.
My husband and I love to cook good food at home. He is the chef, whereas I am the sometimes-sous-chef and cleaner-upper, and my big contribution seems to be taking photos of the wonderful and delicious food. (And eating the food, obviously.) However, I did make this shrimp dish, and my photo was featured at America's Test Kitchen! I was also featured on their Blogger Spotlight with this Pesto Alla Trapanese dish. :)
I’ve been married to my fantastic husband Todd for 21 years. We have a cat named Noodle, who loves to play and snuggle. I work full-time as a financial analyst for a high-tech company. My job keeps me busy, but I'm very thankful to have a job and to work with great people. We live in sunny San Diego, where we enjoy outdoor activities like running, hiking, and walking on the beach. I'm into running and fitness and I try to exercise 4-5 times a week. In June 2009 I ran the inaugural Seattle Rock-N-Roll Half Marathon (13.1 miles). In June 2010 I ran the San Diego Rock-N-Roll Half Marathon. The only full marathon (26.2 miles) I've ever run was the Honolulu Marathon in 2000. I also love to eat, read, knit/crochet, make cards, stamp, sew, and get my hands into anything crafty.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! :)
